About this venue
The Donauhalle is attached directly to the Ulm-Messe exhibition grounds on Böfinger Straße and has for decades been one of the centres of cultural life in Ulm. Designed for maximum flexibility, it offers halls and rooms for 20 to 2,300 people and is used for concerts, festive balls, conferences and meetings, with in-house catering able to serve large events.
Its core is the Grosser Saal, a 39 x 59 m column-free multi-purpose hall of 2,810 m² with a 9 x 12 m stage that can be extended. It takes up to 2,289 in rows, 1,826 at banquet tables, or 3,500 standing for unseated events. The Donausaal, the smaller hall, can be divided by mobile partitions and seats up to 550 in rows, and the 900 m² Donauhalle foyer serves as the entrance to both halls or as a space for smaller events and exhibitions. Conference rooms complete the offer.
