Doug Ellis Sports Centre

The Doug Ellis Sports Centre is Birmingham City University's sports centre on Wellhead Lane in Perry Barr, part of the City North campus. It has a large sports hall used for basketball, badminton and similar, and a floodlit, caged, sand-based all-weather eleven-a-side pitch that can be hired whole or split into three five-a-side pitches.

The hall and pitches are hired out to outside users as well as to the university, and the centre carries a Ticketmaster venue page. Buses stop directly outside and Perry Barr station is about ten minutes' walk away.
