About this venue

East Brighton Park is a roughly 60-acre council-run public park on Wilson Avenue, bounded by East Brighton golf course and extending into Sheepcote Valley near Brighton Marina. Brighton Corporation bought the land in 1913 and landscaped it in 1925 to provide football and cricket pitches and tennis courts; a playground was added in 1987. It also hosts a cafe run from the cricket pavilion (listed separately as East Brighton Cafe) and is used occasionally as an outdoor event/festival site. Venue hire enquiries go through Brighton & Hove City Council's parks team.
