Category B listed 1910 exchange building in Chesser, now a 3,000-capacity concert, conference and banqueting venue owned by Academy Music Group.
The Edinburgh Corn Exchange is a concert, conference, banqueting and events venue in the Chesser district of Edinburgh. The Category B listed building was designed by James A. Williamson and opened in 1910 as a grain exchange; after decades of decline it was bought by Marco's Leisure in 1992 and reopened as an events venue in 1999.
Academy Music Group bought the venue in August 2021 and traded it as the O2 Academy Edinburgh; in April 2025 it reverted to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange name, still under Academy Music Group ownership. It has hosted touring acts including Blur, Manic Street Preachers and Kaiser Chiefs.
The main hall, the Exchange, holds up to 3,000 standing, and the building has four further hireable rooms. There is also a ten-pin bowling centre, five-a-side pitches and a sports bar on site.
