About this venue
Felsenkeller is a cultural venue on Karl-Heine-Straße in Plagwitz, in a former ballroom building from 1890. It was closed by the authorities in 2010 over fire-safety problems, and reopened after a new operating company took it over.
The building has a historic ballroom used for concerts, balls and private events, the smaller NAUMANNs dance hall, a tower room and a beer garden. It hosts touring concerts in rock, metal, pop and indie, along with dance nights and seasonal balls.
