About this venue
The Filmnächte am Elbufer is a seasonal open-air arena on the Königsufer bank of the Elbe in Dresden, facing the old-town skyline. Each summer (late June to late August; 2026 was the 36th season) it runs open-air cinema with about 3,500 seats, 400 of them covered, and concerts for up to about 12,000, such as Roland Kaiser's Kaisermania shows. It draws around 220,000–228,000 visitors a season.
