first direct bank arena
Leeds' 2013 fan-shaped indoor arena on Arena Way, the city's largest venue, hosting arena tours, comedy and family shows.
About this venue
The arena on Arena Way in the Arena Quarter opened in 2013 and is the largest indoor venue in Leeds, hosting arena tours, comedy, family shows and sport. Designed by Populous, it was the first arena in the United Kingdom built on a fan-shaped plan, with every seat facing the stage.
It traded as the first direct arena until July 2025, when the naming-rights deal was restyled and it became the first direct bank arena.
