About this venue
Folketeatret has its main entrance at Nørregade 39 and its stage entrance at Nørre Voldgade 50. The theatre is the result of a 2007 merger of Folketeatret in Nørregade and Det Danske Teater, and runs a season of plays, family shows and youth drama. It rents out its stages and foyer for lectures, conferences, award shows, dinners and product launches: the Store Scene (574 seats), the Hippodromen black box (up to 170), Kvisten (about 80, no fixed seating), Snoreloftet (80, with projector, lighting and sound) and a two-level foyer.
