About this venue

Folkoperan has presented opera and musical productions on Hornsgatan on Södermalm since 1976. The 2026-27 programme includes opera, a Sondheim musical, music monologues, children's productions and guest performances, plus a foyer series of live music and bar evenings that mix opera with other genres. Bar Central serves food and drink around performances, and the box office is on Hornsgatan 72.
