About this venue
Foynhagen is an outdoor concert stage on Brygga, the wharf in Tønsberg. The ground was once the apple orchard belonging to Svend Foyn, the nineteenth-century whaling magnate whose name the town still carries everywhere, and it has been turned into a summer concert arena taking 1,500 standing.
It runs as a seasonal venue, with concerts and events through the summer months, ticketed through Ticketmaster and TicketCo. Foyn Bar & Restaurant sits alongside with outdoor seating on the wharf, and the restaurant The Sense also faces the quay.
