Frölunda kulturhus

Frölunda Kulturhus has existed since 1980 and is one of western Gothenburg's largest meeting places for culture and leisure, run by the City's culture administration. The house contains a library, stages, studios, a cinema, a swimming hall and rooms for courses and association activities, and runs music, dance, theatre, film, exhibitions, story hours and creative workshops for children and adults; in summer activities move out to Positivparken. After a renovation closure that began in August 2023, goteborg.com says the house and library reopened on 26 April 2025. The city's page says the house also offers rooms for rent for meetings, events and other arrangements, and has a reception and a box office. The address is Valthornsgatan 13, next to Frölunda Torg.
