About this venue
Gävle Konserthus is the city's concert hall at Kungsbäcksvägen 22, home to Gävle Symfoniorkester and host to touring artists, school concerts and conferences. The main hall, Gevaliasalen, has 800 seats on stalls and two balconies and is designed for close contact between audience and artists. Bo Linde-salen has no fixed seating and can be fully darkened, so it can be arranged for meetings, dinners, lectures, exhibitions and smaller events. The restaurant and foyer can be arranged with different stage positions for concerts. The house also has the restaurant Gourmet Blå, a ticket office (open Tuesday to Thursday 11-15 and before events) and a conference and congress department. The programme runs from symphonic concerts to artist evenings, such as Lisa Nilsson with Bohuslän Big Band.
