About this venue

Ghillie Dhu occupies the former St Thomas Episcopal Church on Rutland Place, at the West End end of Princes Street. It trades as a Scottish bar and restaurant and is a Fringe venue.

Its Auditorium keeps the church's ornate cornicing, high ceilings and parquet floor, and has its own bar, PA and projector. It takes 180 seated or 300 standing and is used for ceilidhs, gigs, ceremonies, galas and weddings.
