About this venue

Grayshott Village Hall, run by the Grayshott and Hindhead Institute and Village Hall charity, stands on Headley Road in Grayshott, near Hindhead. It lets its rooms for weddings, meetings, exhibitions, theatrical and musical performances, film shows, lectures, classes, parties and sports. The Main Hall (15m by 9.4m) has a fully curtained 8m by 3m stage behind a proscenium arch, two dressing rooms, a PA with headset, handheld and lapel mics, a hearing loop, a large retractable projector screen and an upright piano. It seats 168 theatre-style with a centre gangway or 182 without, and with the adjoining Small Hall takes 140 for a wedding or dinner. The Small Hall seats 59 or takes 60 standing, the first-floor Common Room 56 at tables or 60 standing, the separate Studio up to 80 for meetings, and the Nancy Littlejohn meeting room up to 12. A shared, fully equipped kitchen serves the halls.
