About this venue

Hagateatern is a small theatre at Södra Allégatan 2, a short walk from Järntorget in the Haga district. The building dates from 1911, when it opened as the Biorama cinema; Lilla Teatern took over in 1990 and the theatre has had its present name since 2003. The vaulted stage room keeps its original pillars and the old projector openings. Its programme includes a children's theatre festival and its own productions, and the stage can be hired when the company is on tour, for rehearsal, performance, workshops or other artistic or public use. Published hire prices are 8 000 kr for one day, 20 000 kr for three days and 35 000 kr for a week, with a mandatory introduction by the theatre's staff and a joint clean-up at the end; a technician is charged per hour.
