About this venue
Håndverkeren occupies one of the few wooden buildings in Kristiansand to survive the great city fire of 1892, on Rådhusgata in the middle of town. It runs as restaurant and pub with a concert stage of its own, and is one of the city's steadier live rooms.
The premises take between 20 and 200 guests depending on setup, with a bar, kitchen and catering, a stage and a house sound system. Alongside concerts it handles parties, company events, Christmas dinners and birthdays.
There is a pool table, shuffleboards and darts, and the doors are open seven days a week until 02:00.
