About this venue
The Heidelberg Congress Center (HCC) at Czernyring 20 is the city's conference and congress venue, operated by Heidelberger Kultur- und Kongressgesellschaft mbH, which also runs the Konzerthaus Stadthalle. On three levels it offers 6,633 sq m of event space in ten halls and rooms with 3,800 seats in all, from Saal 1 (1,425 sq m, up to 1,693 seated in rows or 832 at banquet) and the divisible Saal 2 (up to 690) to a series of Forum rooms, a studio and the Sky Forum, plus large foyers.
It hosts congresses, conferences, company events and galas such as the SportAward Rhein-Neckar. The building is fully accessible, with a hearing loop and tactile guidance for blind visitors in its rooms. A two-level underground car park (entrance Goeppert-Mayer-Straße 2) has EV charging, and the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof Süd stop is served by bus 34 and trams 22 and 26.
