About this venue
Helsingborgs Konserthus was built in the spirit of functionalism in 1932 and is the home of Helsingborgs Symfoniorkester, known for its acoustics. Besides concerts it is a popular conference and event venue: the main hall (Stora salen) seats 849, the Lilla salen 244 and the Markelius room up to 150, with smaller conference rooms as well. The main hall can be adapted by closing off the upper levels and using only the stalls at the front. The house is run by the city-owned Helsingborg Arena and Scen AB, and its bar and cafe Markelius serves visitors.
