Hemperium

The Hemperium describes itself as a hemp restaurant and culture pub ("Kulturkneipe") and has been in Ulm for more than 20 years, serving its trademark hemp burger since 1998 alongside hemp beer and regional dishes. It is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5 pm, with a jungle-themed lounge, a table-football area and a summer beer garden. The Hemperium stage hosts live concerts by local and touring bands as well as open jam sessions for musicians of all genres on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, with free entry. The 2026 programme has included punk and post-punk bills, ska bands such as No Sports, garage rock and touring acts from France and Switzerland, plus drum and bass nights, improv comedy and science talks.
