Hold Fast Bookshop is an independent bookshop aboard Marjorie R, a 1946 barge moored at the Upper Dock Mooring at Leeds Dock. The vessel was named Flagship of the Year 2023 by National Historic Ships UK, and carries a large stock of books alongside indoor and outdoor seating.
It is also a small events space, and that is why it holds a listing here: the boat runs a regular public programme of author talks and book launches, live music, improv, children's storytime, film screenings and exhibition previews, ticketed through TicketSource and listed by Leeds Inspired. Open Thursday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm.
