About this venue
Arena Skövde is a multi-purpose arena in the centre of Skövde, run by Skövde municipality. Under one roof it houses sports halls, a swimming pool and adventure water park, the Aqua Vitalis spa, a gym and a bowling alley with a restaurant. The halls take about 2,400 spectators for sport events and the building is used for elite sport and international championships, concerts, fairs and conferences.
Companies and organisers can book the arena for everything from small conferences to large corporate events, with food and drink and extra activities such as the spa, water park, gym and bowling. An organiser page offers a booking-enquiry form, and published plans cover the foyer, the concert layout of the event hall, power points and maximum loads. Local associations use the halls too; the elite handball clubs IFK Skövde and Skövde HF are among those linked from the arena's association page.
The arena's visiting address is Egnells väg 1; the reception is open for general enquiries and a separate contact handles conferences, events and marketing.
