About this venue
Ighten Leigh Social Club opened in the 1950s as a social club for working men at Simonstone, near Padiham. After surviving two fires in the 1970s and 1980s, it reopened under its current name on 20 November 1987. It has a dedicated real-ale bar, pool and snooker tables, darts, quiz nights and a Sky Sports viewing area, plus its own grounds with a car park and outdoor smoking area. A large function room upstairs hosts live and touring bands most Friday to Sunday nights.
