About this venue
The Jazzkeller Sauschdall has kept jazz culture alive in Ulm since 1963, hidden in the old walls of the city's fortifications at Prittwitzstraße 36. Run on a voluntary basis as a registered, non-commercial club supported by the student association UStA e.V., it aims to present the best musicians and DJs from the region and beyond to its guests cheaply or for free.
Its signature is "Game and Jam", billed as Ulm's most legendary jam session, held every Monday evening. The autumn 2026 programme also includes the "Hitech" Halloween gathering, an Irish folk evening and a night art market. The club is in a stone bunker below the Michelsberg clinics car park, beside the CAT club in the same Werk XX fortification; the phone is staffed only during events.
