About this venue
Kalmar Slott is a medieval and Renaissance castle and museum in Kalmar, where the Kalmar Union was signed in 1397. Besides exhibitions and events, the castle runs a hire offer for conferences (three meeting rooms, Gröna salen, Sven Månsson and Sturesalen, plus Borgstugan), company dinners, theatre dinners, kick-offs and weddings, for 2 to 240 people per room and about 450 in total, with modern conference equipment. Sturesalen, for example, is 100 m2 and takes 40 people cinema-style. The castle restaurant provides lunch, dinner and festive meals. It is a heritage site rather than a music venue; the hire route is for meetings, banquets and private events.
