About this venue
The Kammertheater Karlsruhe is a private theatre founded in 1956. Its main house (K1) occupies a former bank building on Herrenstraße in the city centre, where it has played for almost 20 years. The programme covers comedies, musicals, drama and cabaret, often with well-known guest performers.
The company also runs a second house, the ABBAHUS (formerly K2) on Kreuzstraße, which is listed separately.
