About this venue
Katalin And All That Jazz is a live music venue, restaurant and bar in Godsmagasinet at Östra Station, Roslagsgatan 1. It opened in 1984 as the dream of Katalin Varga, with Ulf Carlsten as music booker, and is described as one of the city's oldest and best-loved live stages, with Swedish and international artists. The current programme includes Saturday jazz, jazz lunches, and rock and blues concerts, with a small stage called Katalins Bakficka for smaller shows. Table and food reservations for concert nights are made with the ticket purchase. The premises can be hired for private dinners, company parties, kick-offs and concerts: the cosy Bakficka suits small groups, the music room larger ones, and mingle parties are taken for up to 400 people with tailored food and drink. Children under 13 are not admitted to events. Neighbouring Blackbird is a separate business in the same building group.
