About this venue
Konserthallen is Eskilstuna municipality's flexible concert hall. The light auditorium has 494 seats plus four wheelchair spaces, and the flexible stage (18 m wide, 11 m deep, 8 m high) allows most kinds of events. The municipality describes it as best suited to acoustic music of any genre, and it is used for concerts, theatre and lectures. A Steinway D grand piano and a piano are available, and a hearing loop is installed in the hall and at the stage edge. Refreshments can be served next to the hall by young musicians from the municipal culture school. The hall is hired out through the municipal rentals office, which also handles the price list for halls, stages and equipment. Parking is on the school yard next to the building, without marked bays. Information on upcoming events is handled by the individual organisers.
