Kultur-Dschungel

The Kultur-Dschungel is an open-air stage on a site of about 3,000 square metres at Unter den Eichen, on the northern edge of Wiesbaden where the city meets nature. Since 2021 it has grown into a cultural venue that is more than a classic stage: an amphitheatre in the green that brings together theatre, concerts, festivals and visual art. Its resident summer theatre, an independent company that began in 2016 as the Sommertheater im Nerotal and moved here in 2021, celebrated ten years of professional open-air productions in 2026. The 2026 programme ran from May with plays, children's theatre, concerts, readings and two day festivals, Dschungel-Erwachen and Dschungel-Fieber, and continues into the autumn with the light and sound festival Story of Light (21 October to 20 November 2026).
