About this venue
Kulturhuset i Halden occupies a building constructed in 1881 as a boys' school, now converted into a cultural hub across three floors with a café as its social centrepiece. The venue offers two conference rooms seating up to 60 each and a gallery space configurable for up to 100 guests, alongside rehearsal space for choirs, writers and artists. It hosts weekly concerts and cultural performances, workshops, conferences, exhibitions and private celebrations, with performers including the Norwegian hip hop artist Onkel Tuka.
