About this venue
The Kulturladen Schloss Almoshof, one of the city's Kulturläden, is the cultural and social focal point of Nürnberg's outer north. In the small castle and its beer garden it presents changing art exhibitions, concerts ranging from classical to rock and literary events, alongside a wide course programme and a base for local groups and clubs; it also runs a castle flea market and seasonal outings.
Since the courtyard was resurfaced in 2018 the entrance steps have gone: the main entrance of the castle, the seminar building and the new toilet block, which has an accessible toilet, are step-free. For private events the Schlosscafé (two café rooms with 45 seats and a beer garden, plus a kitchen for self-catering) and, as an option, the barn (about 64 m², up to 60 seated or about 25 at tables) can be hired; dates for private parties in 2026 are fully booked.
