Kulturmagasinet Sundsvall

Kulturmagasinet is Sundsvall's municipal culture house at Packhusgatan 4, home to Sundsvalls museum, the city library, Medelpadsarkiv and a cafe. Its event rooms are let through Scenservice for public and private events by local associations, organisations, study associations, universities, municipal departments and companies; the rooms are not let to private individuals. Programsalen is a small hall with a projector, PC and speakers (70 seated). Lars Ahlins torg is the square under the glass roof, mainly let for public cultural events, with fixed front lights and a stage built when needed (100 seated or 150 standing; up to 350 standing only). Public events in the hall require tickets via Entré Sundsvall. A programme technician is included in the base rental on weekdays; extra staff, an acoustic piano and catering from the in-house cafe are charged separately. Bookings are made at least two weeks ahead.
