About this venue
The Kupfersaal is an event hall in the Dresdner Hof, a 1912–13 building complex with a public arcade in Leipzig's city centre, between the Markt and the university campus on Kupfergasse. It holds up to 560 guests and is wheelchair accessible. An adjoining daylit Lounge for up to 40 people can be booked on its own or as a breakout room; together the two take up to 600.
Its programme is broad: poetry slams, comedy, live podcasts and singer-songwriters, plus classical, crossover and tribute concerts by the Philharmonie Leipzig, jazz and literary readings. The rooms are also let for presentations, galas and receptions.
