About this venue

Kvinesdal kino og kulturhus stands at Vesterdalsvegen 3 in the centre of Kvinesdal, and combines the municipality's cinema, its cultural house and the library in one building. Storsalen is the main room, an amphitheatre of 256 seats fitted with Dolby digital sound from QSC and Dolby digital 3D, and treated acoustically so it works for theatre and concerts as well as film. Alongside the film programme it takes live relays of opera, musicals, concerts, festivals and sport. The newer cinema hall has an amphitheatre of 89 seats plus ten luxury chairs with tables. The building was designed with universal accessibility in mind: all three halls and the library are entered directly from the main floor. There are 100 free parking spaces immediately outside and four accessible bays on the same level as the main entrance. Hire enquiries go to the house on +47 38 35 77 00, weekdays 08:00-15:00.
