About this venue
Lærdal kulturhus stands at Øyraplassen 14 in Lærdalsøyri and is run by Lærdal municipality. Its hall seats 150 and works both as Lærdal kommunale kino, the municipal cinema, and as the village's room for concerts, talks and conferences; there is a kiosk selling popcorn, sweets and drinks.
The cinema runs on the municipality's own terms — 125 kroner for adults and 85 for children, with every tenth film free on a stamp card and gift cards sold at the municipal service office. Films are classified by Medietilsynet in the usual Norwegian way. The programme is published on the house's Facebook page, in the municipal events calendar and on notices at the cultural house and the town hall.
