About this venue

The Leipziger Central Kabarett is a cabaret theatre in the König-Albert-Haus, a commercial building of 1913 on the corner of Markt and Barfußgässchen in the city centre. Its resident ensemble plays satirical cabaret most nights of the week, such as the 2026/27 shows Sächsische Spezialitäten and Der König der Blöden, plus brunch performances. It has two stages: its own cabaret stage, and the Blauer Salon (Blue Salon). The Blauer Salon seats 200, looks out over the market square, and adds guest performances by other artists, including concerts and theatre, to the house programme.
