Lincoln Bishop University

Lincoln Bishop University occupies an 18-acre site on Longdales Road in uphill Lincoln, mixing 1840s buildings with modern teaching and sports facilities. It was known as Bishop Grosseteste University until 1 September 2025, when the new name was adopted after approval by the Office for Students.

The university hires its spaces out for conferences, meetings, lectures, previews and weddings. Its own conferencing pages describe intimate meeting spaces and fully equipped conference rooms; named buildings on the site include the Robert Hardy Building, the Old School House, the Bishop Greaves Theatre and the Sports and Fitness Centre. No per-room capacity is published on the university's own pages, so none is recorded here.
