About this venue

Madam Lola's is a cabaret venue in a distinctive copper-domed rotunda at 83 St George's Road, Kemptown — the building previously known as the Hanbury Ballrooms and, until its January 2026 repossession, Haus of Cabaret. New operators Luke Shaw and Josh Gomez relaunched it on 29 May 2026 after completing fire-safety upgrades. Friday and Saturday nights combine dancers, aerial performers, live vocalists, comedy and drag with a cabaret show followed by DJs and dancing until 2am, plus Saturday afternoon drag brunches.
