Malt Cross

The Malt Cross is a Grade II listed Victorian music hall of 1877 on St James's Street in Nottingham city centre, one of only a handful of such halls still standing in Britain. The main room keeps its galleried interior, with cast-iron columns carrying the gallery beneath an arched glass and timber roof, and there are sandstone caves beneath the building.

It is run on a not-for-profit basis as a bar, kitchen and events venue, with live music and DJ nights alongside its heritage and art programme. The Malt Cross Trust Company is a registered charity (no. 1058559); the venue has been operated with the YMCA Robin Hood Group since 2018.
