About this venue
The marotte is a figure and puppet theatre that has played in Karlsruhe since 1987, with stories for children, adults and everyone in between, from well-known classics to new, popular children's books. It shares the Theaterhaus on Kaiserallee with the Jakobus-Theater and DAS SANDKORN, and also tours its productions to theatres, nurseries, libraries and events across Germany. Guest companies appear on its stage too.
Doors and the box office open 30 minutes before each show, and seating is unreserved. The theatre is step-free and has a lift, with a small number of wheelchair places per performance on request by email. Tickets are sold through Reservix.
