About this venue

Martinique sits at Nytorget 14 in Stavanger, at the start of Pedersgata beside St. Petri church. It works as two things at once: the local pub, which it describes as a melting pot of people across trades, ages, scenes and interests, and a concert room with a settled programme of local, national and international artists. Quiz nights and shuffleboard fill the evenings in between. Outside there is seating with heat lamps for smokers. The bar is open Sunday to Friday 13:00-02:00 and Saturday from 12:00, with a 20-year age limit. The bar on the first floor is hired out for private events — meetings, birthdays and gatherings.
