About this venue
MUCK Familientheater Mainz is a small, independently run family theatre in Mainz-Gonsenheim, founded by a team who previously worked for many years at the Galli Theater. It stages interactive "Mitmuck" fairy-tale plays in which children join in, ensemble "Guckmuck" productions with music, comedies and improvised theatre for adults, and creative workshops, and also tours to schools, nurseries and other stages in the region. The theatre has 100 m² in total: an 8 m² stage with lighting and sound equipment and black and red velvet curtains, an auditorium with flexible seating for about 30 people, and a foyer with a counter. The space, which has a piano and Wi-Fi, can also be hired for workshops, readings, talks and acoustic concerts. The theatre room has step-free access, but there is no accessible toilet. The entrance is on Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße.
