About this venue
The Münsterplatz is the large square at the foot of Ulm Minster, whose spire is the tallest church tower in the world. Ulm-Messe GmbH, the city's events company, presents itself as the contact for events "from the exhibition grounds to the Münsterplatz" and has run the Ulm weekly market and the Ulm Christmas market on the square since 2012; the Christmas market brings around 130 stalls.
In summer the square is used as an open-air concert site: recent shows include Roland Kaiser on 19 July 2026, and Wincent Weiss and the Wiener Symphoniker in July 2025. The record is for the public square, not the Minster church itself.
