Musikhuset Aarhus

Musikhuset Aarhus, also marketed as The Concert Hall, is the main venue for music and performing arts in Aarhus, at Thomas Jensens Allé 1. The building opened in 1982 and was extended in the 2000s; its own site counts seven halls and ten stages. The halls include Store Sal, Symfonisk Sal, Rytmisk Sal, Lille Sal and the Chamber Music Hall, with seating from about 100 to about 1,570. It is home to the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Academy of Music and Den Jyske Opera, and its programme spans classical music, pop and rock, comedy, talks, family shows, theatre and dance. The house also hosts meetings, events and conferences for businesses.
