The National Centre for Early Music is the national advocate of early music in England and a performance venue in York, based in the medieval St Margaret's Church, Walmgate. NCEM hosts three festivals of early music in Yorkshire and a year-round programme of folk, jazz, early music and world music concerts, alongside a creative learning programme.
