About this venue
The Parabola Arts Centre (PAC) is a modern theatre and arts venue in central Cheltenham. It sits within a Grade II* listed building and is operated by CLC Venues and Events, the commercial arm of Cheltenham Ladies' College. The minimalist contemporary auditorium seats 311 across two levels, plus wheelchair spaces, and has resonant acoustics.
The building also has five breakout rooms, a dance studio, three dressing rooms, and a foyer that houses the box office and bar and doubles as an art gallery. The public programme includes stand-up comedy, cinema screenings and seasonal theatre productions.
The theatre is let to external hirers for theatre productions, comedy, talks, conferences, festivals and presentations. Hire includes a duty manager and duty technician, and the galleries can be hired separately. A hirer pack and technical information are available from the college's venues team, with public-benefit rates for charities.
