About this venue
The Paradvåningen is the preserved state apartment of Hedbergska huset, a listed building in Stenstan, Sundsvall, built in 1889-90. Sundsvalls kommun lets it, through Scenservice, for civil wedding ceremonies, with a choice of three rooms: Salongen, Gröna herrummet and Förmaket. The apartment holds up to 30 people. Because of the sensitive interior, open flames are not allowed (battery candles only) and the premises are smoke-free. The apartment is one flight up and there is no lift; as a listed building it is not adapted for wheelchair users. Bookings are made by e-mail to Scenservice, and cancellations must be made at least three months ahead to avoid a charge.
