About this venue
Pärimusmuusika Ait, the Traditional Music Centre, is a concert house and cultural centre in the converted granary of Viljandi manor, on the edge of the castle hills. The large hall takes up to 400 guests and the small hall on the first floor up to 100; a basement fireplace room with a sauna suits smaller groups, and the whole building can be hired. Musicians rehearse and workshops are held under the brick vaults in the basement, and a café on the second floor looks out over the castle hills. Room hire is by advance booking.
