During the periodic Tall Ships Aberdeen festival it is converted into a 7,000-capacity open-air concert venue with a main stage, food outlets and bars, hosting headline acts (Kaiser Chiefs, Deacon Blue and others in 2025) alongside free daytime and family programming.
