About this venue

Plymouth Hoe is a large public headland and park overlooking Plymouth Sound, historically where Sir Francis Drake is said to have played bowls before the Spanish Armada. Plymouth City Council uses it as the site of the city's largest recurring outdoor events, including the British Firework Championships and Plymouth Armed Forces Day, both accredited under the Live Events Access Charter.
