About this venue

Posebyhaven Scene is an outdoor stage in Posebyen, the historic wooden-house quarter of Kristiansand, staging concerts through the summer season in what the operators call the city's most charming backyard. It sits inside Posebyhaven, a courtyard complex of small independent businesses — clothing and vintage shops, a ceramics studio, a bakery, a marzipan maker, food trucks and the Tår cocktail and coffee bar — set among the old timber houses. The stage is run by Posebyhaven Scene AS (org. no. 929 440 730), registered in 2022 and based at Kronprinsens gate 57, alongside the wider Posebyhaven operation and its associated friends' society. Programme announcements go out through the venue's Facebook and Instagram channels and tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. The courtyard is open Tuesday to Saturday 10:00-23:00 and closed Sunday and Monday. The venue is available for private hire, with enquiries handled by email.
